Reinstalling a system with DD is not something you finish in 20 seconds: those tens of seconds might cover typing the commands or getting partway through the prep, but the download, installation, and network recovery after the reboot take far longer.
Here's a short version of the process. For the full explanation, see "One-Click System Reinstall Tutorial (DD Script Edition)." This uses bin456789/reinstall, not your provider's control panel reinstall feature.
First, Make Sure You Can Get Back In
The reinstall process will overwrite the data on your system disk. Make an independent backup first, then test your provider's console. If you only have SSH and no console, don't count on the script to save you once the connection drops. OpenVZ and LXC are not full virtual machine environments supported by this script.

Prepare and Pick an OS
Using a Debian/Ubuntu environment as an example:
sudo -i
apt-get update
apt-get install -y curl ca-certificates
curl -fL -o reinstall.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bin456789/reinstall/main/reinstall.sh
less reinstall.sh
bash reinstall.sh debian 13
The last line selects Debian 13; to use a different OS, swap in whatever parameters the project currently supports. Don't pick a version that's already reached end of life, and don't download some unknown image to replace your system disk.
Check the Prompts Before Rebooting
Once the script has prepared the installation environment, note down the account, network, and login details it shows you before moving on to the reboot step. Watch the progress through your console, and after installation finishes, confirm the system boots and the network works before bringing your services back up.
Before the first reboot into the installer, you can undo the prep with bash reinstall.sh reset. It can't undo disk overwrites that have already happened.
This checklist saves you time digging through docs, not time spent on backups, checks, and recovery.
